Vivian is a Research Assistant under the Kenyan component of the DCP project based at the University of Nairobi’s Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation (ICCA). She holds a BSc in Environmental Conservation and Natural Resources Management from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Climate Change Adaptation at ICCA. Her Master’s thesis focuses on studying the impacts of transformational development on water resources along development corridors in the face of climate change uncertainties in Maai Mahiu, Kenya. Vivian is a registered Environmental Impact Assessment/Audit expert (Associate) by the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) Kenya with over five years of practicing experience in environmental project management, monitoring and evaluation, research and data analysis. She brings a set of talents in environmental and social impact assessment, climate change adaptation and transdisciplinary research.
