Martial Amou

Martial is a climate change research scientist and PhD candidate of Climate Change Lab at the Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development in Agriculture (IEDA) of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), Beijing, China. His research interests centre on Adaptation & Resilience, Risk & Vulnerability and Nature-based Solutions & Disaster Risk Reduction. He has authored and co-authored few research papers and currently investigating how to construct a climate resilient adaptation technology system under the Development Corridors Partnership (DCP) project led by UNEP-WCMC in East Africa. He obtained an MSc degree in climate change and human security under the West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) research program, University of Lome, Togo. He has experience in local community development and holds a BSc in agriculture and rural economics from the University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC, Benin). Passionate about Information Technology, Martial is also skilled at computer system programming.
